Frequently-misunderstood mining magnate Clive Palmer has put the 30 million doses of hydroxychloroquine, that he purchased last year for the benefit of the nation, on the Coolum Gumtree web classifieds today.
Mr Palmer, who out of the goodness of his own heart, purchased the potentially lifesaving drug in the fight against the Pangolin’s Revenge.
When our governments were doing nothing except closing borders and pointing fingers, Clive told The Advocate that he took it upon himself to be the adult in the room.
“I went and took action,” said Clive.
“And what did I get in return? People mocked me. For paying millions and millions to dollars to make sure Australians had access to hydroxychloroquine,”
“Which at the time was more than what the government was prepared to do. You don’t get to be a billionaire by following the rules. You can tell Mark McGowan was breastfed until he was 16. He takes no risks, he has no panache. He would be a terrible businessman. God, I hate his stupid guts,”
“Anyway, yes thank you for noticing that I have put 30 million doses of that hydroxychloroquine on Gumtree. Please, do not lowball me. I know the true value. It’s like a Toyota Landcruiser. The value does not depreciate over time. Once again, do not ring me up and offer $50. It is not funny.”
More to come.
