The Prime Minister made a rare media appearance this afternoon and he wasn’t pleased about it, he said.

Scott Morrison is on a ‘run-of-the-mill- public service RDO today – or Rostered Day Off for people who have to work in the real world and have probably never had one.

That means he’s uncontactable; it means today is Scott’s day to spend however he deems fit.

It’s understood by The Advocate that he took his fitted Taylormade P790s down to Royal Canberra this morning for a walk, he left a sand wedge in Lake Burley-Griffin on his way to shoot 148.

At 11, he stopped for a Fat Yak shandy at the clubhouse and a bowl of wedges.

For lunch, he had a 90-minute sit-down shower and a sleeve of Scotch Fingers.

After 1pm, Jenny came in to check on him. She was heading to the shops and asked if he wanted anything. He said no.

Then the world rudely crashed in.

Scott’s chief-of-staff entered the bathroom and sat down on the opposite the seat nude Prime Minister.

“People are wondering where you are, Prime Minister,” said his staffer.

“Do you reckon you could get dressed and do a quick presser up at Parliament? The people would probably like you for it.”

The Prime Minister let out a long, guttural moan that resonated almost perfectly with the bathroom’s hard furnishings.

“OK,” he said.

“Prepare my suit.”

As he arrived in the Parliament House courtyard, the entire Canberra Press Gallery apologised to Scott for getting him up and out on his day off.

More to come.
