Following the opening night of yet another unmissable television event, The Bachelor AU, It has been reported that Channel 10 producers are working flat out to curate the romance-element of the show.

Former Rugby Union star, Nick ‘The Honey Badger’ Cummins has wowed audiences and contestants with his cutesy larrikin demeanour, but showrunners say they are increasingly nervous that he’s going to start taking things into his own hands.

One of eight siblings, Nick Cummins identifies as a staunch Queenslander, as he was raised in Logan City south of Brisbane. Meaning he has a different idea of where young reality TV starlets would like to be taken on a date.

Due to his euphoric suburban Queensland upbringing, producers say that some of The Honey Badger’s suggested date nights are actually a bit too Logan, even if they would make for amazing television.

Channel 10 reality producer, Carrie McHellier, said she’s been quite stern in diffusing some of The Honey Badger’s ideas for an authentic South Brisbane courtship.

“We were quite stern in telling Cummins that the Logan Hyperdome Hyperplex Cinemas were not ideal for a young woman with collagen fillers”

“They are doing waist training for a reason, and it’s not to spend their evenings watching movies and eating choc-tops”

“The Beenleigh Boat ramp was another suggested venue. We had to shut down. As well as just going to Ikea to for a feed of some meatballs in the foodcourt bane marie”

When asked for comment, Cummins told our reporters that he feels like the world has gone and got itself into a hurry.
