Lawyers for the world-famous Atlanta rapper 21 Savage have today revealed new developments in the 26-year-olds current citizenship saga that has seen him attract the attention of US immigration officials after it was revealed he was a British national.

“21 Savage is beginning the next phase of his life as an Englishman” said a spokesperson for his legal team, hired by Jay-Z

“After spending so much time in Atlanta as a young man, 21 Savage was unable to take part in the usual rights-of-passage that young English men go through”

“So right now he’s on his way to Airlie Beach in North Queensland, and will spend some time staying in the bunk beds at Magnums backpackers, where he will spend a couple weeks rooting in the lagoon and drinking cask wine”

“After that we believe he has organised a job working in recruitment in Sydney, and will move into a sharehouse in Bondi Junction”

The 26-year-old had been arrested last week by US Immigration and Customs Enforcement (Ice) who said the rapper, whose given name is She’yaa Bin Abraham-Joseph, was living in the US with an expired visa. It was confirmed two days later that he had been born in Britain.

However, as of today the rapper has been granted a release from custody on bond and is going to catch that massive flight from London to Perth.

21 Savage has also expressed interest in the mandatory visa work in rural Australia, with a hope to find a placement with a fencing contractor in Betoota.
