Local Tigers fan Kevin Marshall (33) feels like he might need to take a week off week in mid-to-late October this year.

Just, you know, to make room for the fan days. The Grand Final. The ticketek parade.

“They’ll probably shut down Norton street” he says.

“Maybe they’ll do post-Grand Final celebrations at the Concorde Performance Centre”

This comes after the mighty West Tigers notch two wins in a row in the opening rounds of the NRL season.

After finding their groove in a meaningless loss against Newcastle in round 1, the Tigers were suddenly clicking.

They absolutely thrashed the Eels 32-6 in round two.

Then they thrashed the Dolphins 30-18.

“I reckon Richo [club chairman Graham Richardson] know what he’s doing” says Kev, from behind his desk in his random corporate creative job that people from Sydney’s inner-west always seem to have.

“Everyone always talks about a five year plan, but I think we are moving much faster than that”

“I better take a couple weeks off the be honest. The finals run will be wild”
