With round one of the NRL season just around the corner, Fox Sports premiere rugby league pundit Paul Kent knows that these ambulances aren’t going to chase themselves.

On a phone call with Lachlan Murdoch today, Paul Kent is believed to have used language that the supreme leader of NewsCorp is not familiar with.

“We need to get back on air now!!!” demanded Kenty, as the junior Murdoch began wondering how he got his hands on his phone number.

“We’ve already fucken missed the boat on those Indigenous show ponies wrestling in Canberra, now we’ve got the Dragons apparently doing the same thing in Mudgee!!!”

This comes as St George Dragons players are believed to have enjoyed a pre-scheduled night of unbridled piss-cutting in Mudgee after their 42-24 Charity Shield loss to the Rabbitohs on Saturday, before a scuffle broke out at the team hotel at 6am on Sunday.

The Dragons insist there were no punches thrown between the players, but the behaviour, according to the Dragons, did not meet the club’s standards – because being pissed and awake at 6am kind of isn’t what you’re supposed to do on a work trip.

Fellow Murdoch sports reporters/opinion-givers have since attempted to cover this explosive scandal by accusing ‘the PC mob’ of making a big deal of this scandal that literally they are the only people talking about.

However, this story just hasn’t been given the justice that Kenty and a panel of leathery and hungover old rugby league pundits would be able to serve.

That’s why he needs to get the band back together.

“Sorry about the language but we need to get this fucking show on the road!” Kent told Lachlan Murdoch, today.

“Think of the clicks we could have gotten out of these drunken melees. We could have coaches, players, executives, all fronting press conferences for two weeks”

“I’ll call out Abdo about this DISGRACEFUL behaviour tomorrow if you can get us back on air”

“The games needs [hiccup] 360 back on air!”
