James Graham, a Rugby League player whose preferred tackling style is with his head, has today doubled down on his assertions that there is nothing wrong with a few head knocks here and there.

Despite an overwhelming body of evidence stating otherwise, the English prop told The Advocate this morning that if you are scared of concussions then you are soft as butter.

“There’s absolutely nothing wrong with a few concussions,” said the man whose staggered off the field propped up by trainers and team doctors numerous times.

“If you can’t handle a good head knock, then you probably should be playing netball, or at the very least in the backs,” joked the Englishman.

“The game shouldn’t be stopping people like me from playing whenever I want now, they should just stump at compensation down the track when a court finds they had a duty of care”

Graham explained that despite the fact you often can’t really feel anything when you are concussed during a game of footy, playing through it is a sign of toughness.

“It’s social mixed touch footy for you if you can’t handle a week’s worth of headaches and the occasional random vomit,” he laughed.

“In the words of Gus Gould, let the boys plays aye” he said before asking our reporter if he had to play footy tonight or was it just a training day.
