Australian rugby captain Michael ‘Micky The Bull’ Hooper is today grappling with the toughest decision of them all.

That is, whether or not he snitches on Wallabies veteran and teammate David Pocock, who has reportedly been reading The Guardian news reports after the 11pm lights out.

Pocock, who has a habit of reading as much climate science research as possible while on tour, has begged Hooper not to snitch and vows to make sure to turn down the brightness levels on his iPhone in the future.

This comes after the news that Hooper allegedly tattled on Adam Ashley-Cooper and Kurtley Beale, who were axed from the weekend’s playing side after breaking team rules, at the squad’s Cardiff hotel following the 9-6 loss to Wales at the Principality Stadium.

It is believed that the players invited three of their close female friends back to their room. The women were known by the pair, with one of them being Ashley-Cooper’s sister-in-law.

Coach Michael Cheika said the pair had made “an error of judgement” and it cost them their place in the team. Leaving the Wallabies side to play in their Indigenous round jerseys without any Indigenous players in the side.

The team’s leadership group, led by skipper Michael Hooper, informed Cheika of what happened this Tuesday and asked him to take appropriate action.

While the new and improved team culture based of dobbing appears to be a part of the ‘rebuilding phase’ – Michael Hooper appears to be unsure if he should go one further and dob on his roommate David Pocock.

Pocock has pleaded with Hooper not to be a dog, and explained that he would understand his fascination with the writing of Michael Slezak if he took the time to read some of the articles he sent him a few weeks back.

At time of press, Hooper was seen re-reading the rules and regulations handbook to clarify whether or not lights out was 11pm or 12pm, and if variations in timezones mean that Pocock might be able to get off with an internal warning.
