In some breaking news out of the nation’s glitter strip, it is being reported that that the Gold Coast Titans have lined up their next coach.

After sacking Garth Brennan mid-way through the season because of the organisation’s appalling recruitment policy and club management, the Titans are reportedly set to hand the reins over to someone else as early as this weekend.

Multiple sources within the organisation have confirmed to The Advocate that the deal to sign the Logan Brothers U14’s Coach is as good as done.

“It’s been quite a process for the organisation, but we are pretty much there,” said a source who requested not to be named.

“We spent at least a couple of hours negotiating with him, but we’ve got him for 4 years on a $15 million contract, which is really exciting.”

The role will be the first NRL gig for Brayden Williams, who managed to take the Logan Brothers U14’s to the first round of finals last year before getting knocked out of the competition.

“That’s the kind of success we want to breed at the club, and everyone is stoked to have him on board. We were more than happy to throw in a BT50 and a new Jet-Ski Sea-Doo RXT 300,” said the anonymous source.

“And if there’s one thing we love doing at the Titans, it’s signing guys on huge contracts for no apparent reason.”

Williams beat out current Maroons Coach Kevin Walters and Ipswich Jets coaches the Walker brothers to the role.

It’s not yet known when Williams will backflip on the deal, and which club he will head to instead.
