In a silver lining for the AFL during the whole Coronavirus crisis, the Gold Coast Suns have somehow managed to set a new ground attendance record.

This remarkable achievement comes despite the fact they were playing under the gathering ban restrictions.

“Yeah, it’s something I guess,” said AFL CEO Gillon McLachlan moments before announcing the season would be suspended.

The AFL is set to postpone the season indefinitely as State and Federal government’s move to lock down the country.

“Best AFL news out of the Gold Coast since they signed Karmichael.”

The Suns couldn’t be lifted by the record-breaking crowd going down to the Port Adelaide Power 76-29.
