A local woman has rage quit an impulsive Temu purchase today, after the app insisted on her playing its stupid spin the wheel game multiple times, and prompted her to buy more discounted items next to a countdown clock, resulting in her feeling both overwhelmed and stressed.

Speaking to The Advocate, Angie Bashar, 28, says she’d simply been looking for a cute wig and a lace mini skirt when the app kept interrupting her scrolling to play its ‘stupid fucking games – including forcing her to spin the wheel again, as she was able to click purchase.

“Honestly Temu and Shein can get fucked, I’m absolutely sick of them!”, complains Angie, referring to the two of the biggest fast fashion sweatshops in the world, “every time I go to google women’s clothing, I’ll see a sponsored ad for something that looks really nice, only to realise it’s one of those two fucking websites.”

Angie admits that even though she knows she shouldn’t buy fashion from those sites for ethical reasons, it’s the high number of popups that stops her from pressing the checkout button on Temu.

“I mean, I’m already there, why do they keep making me spin the wheel? It’s fucking annoying.”

“I don’t want to play its little Saw games.”

More to come.
