A Noosa Heads man has today been reported to the Royal Society for The Prevention Of Cruelty To Animals by a concerned community member.

Brad Phillips (29) was reported a short time ago after being seen taking his Siberian Husky for a run along the beach this morning.

With temperatures still reasonably hot on Queensland’s retirement belt, a fellow beachgoer decided to make an anonymous tip off to the RSPCA.

“Mate, fuck,” he sighed to The Advocate this morning.

“Those dogs come from the most tundra like conditions on earth, and he’s got it running on the beach in one of the most tropical areas in the world.”

“Of course the dog’s gonna run, cause that’s what millennia of evolution tells it to do, but Jesus, the poor thing is sweating up like a front rower in a mosh pit.”

“What kind of a human being purchases a snow dog for a pet in a tropical climate.”

Speaking to the man who does, Brad Phillips told us he thinks Huskies are mad.

“They look so cool hey,” he laughed.

“I mean, Bear looks kind of hot right now, but he should cool down within the next few hours after I get him in the air-conditioning.”

When asked why he didn’t just get a nice kelpie or border collie if he wanted a larger active dog, Phillips shrugged.

“Huskies just look boss I reckon.”
