Texts are flying across Betoota’s 3G network this evening after a post on Facebook Marketplace ignites some local gossip.
At 8:32pm AEST, The Advocate understands local eyelash extension specialist Jess Kenny sent the rumour mill into a spin after listing her 2011 Suzuki Swift on Facebook Marketplace with the view to sell “ASAP”.
One half of a new local couple, Jess is believed to be dating local chippy Jarrod Edwards, a relationship that’s become increasingly more public in town.
After hooking up at the Betoota races back in July, it’s understood Jess and Jarrod have essentially become Betoota’s answer to Emily Ratajkowski and Pete Davidson, flaunting their new relationship around town and even playing in a mixed touch team together.
Yet with less than six months of dating under their belts, The Advocate can all but confirm the young spunky couple are expecting to boost Betoota’s population count by one, as they welcome a new bundle of joy into the world.
Speaking to local gossip queen Kaylee Edwards (24), it’s understood the couple is looking to upgrade their wheels to a vehicle that can actually fit a baby seat.
“OMG Jess must be pregaz”, Kaylee told The Advocate via Facebook Messenger.
“Everyone knows that is Jess’s car, she got it for her 18th birthday and now she’s trying to sell it on.”
“The fact she said she was keen to trade it up for a RAV4 means she must have a bub on the way, Rav4’s are pretty big tho, maybe it’s twins!”
