One of those quiet kids that brought his giant carpet python to his year 5 show-and-tell has unsurprisingly grown up to be a man with an elaborate modified vape that blows giant clouds.
The 34 year old former carpet python owner took the natural step into vape modification during the covid-19 lockdowns and has never looked back.
Experts say that his transition is more common than one may think.
“For some inexplicable reason, we find that the quiet kid that used have a pet snake very often becomes the quiet man that puffs giant vape clouds with a modified device that looks like some sort of Afghan war I.E.D” explained Sociologist Dr.Brenton Folley (68).
The transition, according to Dr.Folley, is remarkably predictable, a rite of passage for the fedora-wearing community who once proudly paraded around with a pet that was way cooler than anything his classmates could possibly own.
“The key is the need for a hobby that no one else quite understands,” he explained
Reece Renwick (32), now an esteemed vape modder and connoisseur of rare e-liquids, insists the journey from snake owner to vape king was an entirely organic one.
“Look, it’s all about individuality,” he said, while adjusting his fedora and ensuring his vape cloud is both dense and impressive.
“The snake was a statement, and now the vape is just… well, another statement.”
Despite friends expressing concerns that the vape makes him seem like a complete nerd, Reece stands by his new identity, believing that the refillable vape is actually “really sick”
