Rivalled only by Succession devotees, The White Lotus fans are famous for their obsessive attention to detail, and need to scrutinise every raised eyebrow, lingering glance, and seemingly innocuous costume choice for hidden meanings – and this group chat is no different.
“I had no idea putting your feet on the table was an omen of death”, writes Jen, who was the one to start the ‘These gays’ group chat, “there’s just so many Easter eggs.”
“Ooh I’ll have to rewatch it all, chimes in Manisha, “do you remember how one of the resort staff said that fruit was poisonous? Or do you reckon that’s too obvious?”
“Way too obvi”, replies Jen.

Lena, who only just got on board with The White Lotus after subscribing to MAX for her Sex and The City fix, chimes in that she reckons it’ll be one of the poorer characters, because “rich people keep getting away with it too easily.”
“But if it’s anything like the last two seasons, it’ll be the fan favourite.”
“Mike White’s a genius. I feel like he’s fully anticipated every theory and is still going to shock us all.”
