An explosive Instagram story set group chats alight over the weekend, after a new mystery man was given his social media debut.
Wedged amongst a ream of stories featuring binge drinking and baby showers, popular Betoota girl Olivia Sanders, who goes by the handle @livyyy_loves_life, uploaded a public story that sparked serious intrigue into her new romance.
The Advocate believes the story featured a crisp white linen shirt and the young lady in question, reportedly at popular local Betoota Italian restaurant, “Snottis”.
However it wasn’t the tomato on toast or table setting that sparked interest, but rather the appearance of a male individual, photographed from the chin down sporting a linen shirt with two buttons undone.
The Advocate understands the story, which was also heavily filtered, contained the captain “Dinner with this one…”
Speaking to local gossip queen Kaylee Edwards (24), the debut of the new beau has been the talk of the town amongst Betoota’s hair salons and mixed Netball competitions all week.
“Of course we all saw it, like everyone knows Olivia’s been single for months so it’s the biggest news in town,” conceded Ms Edwards.
“To be honest everyones kinda happy for her after she ditched that scumbag Jackson Wiley last year, but this new guy must be pretty serious.”
“You don’t go putting up a story teasing out some fella wearing linen at Snotti’s unless you’ve been dating a while, so we’re all dying to know who he is!?”
Regarding the mystery and mystique of the new male, The Advocate understands the majority of guesses point to him being from out of town.
“I sure haven’t seen any guy like that on my Tinder this week, so he’s an out-of-towner for sure!”
