Sydney City, known for it’s beautiful harbour and beaches, is such a nice destination that members of the coalition government have declared that even the region’s toughest prison is actually quite pleasant.

One liberal MP, who was talking to 2GB radio because it is the only media platform that refrains from questioning him over his ongoing racist and misogynistic gaffes, was responding to growing calls to review Australia’s industrial prison complex, when he pointed out that living in a supermax prison is actually a luxury.

“Long Bay is no hell-hole by any means. I’ve been there,” the lonely, undervalued old boomer told radio station 2GB.

“I’ve got lots of friends from business, state politics and the church that have gone their for hoidays”

“If you like living near the water, it’s a very, very pleasant institution.”

The liberal MP said the medical facilities in Long Bay were better than those available in some country towns in Australia – and that warehousing institutionalised individuals was definitely worth the couple hundred thousand dollars it costs the tax-payer each year.

“It probably isn’t the place for children, but even so, if I could somehow wrangle an argument that children deserved to be there, then I would [haha]” he said, before briefly forgetting where he was, and then shuddering through the painful stabbing pain in his mind that comes with his recurring flashback to the night he was ousted by Malcolm Turnbull in 2015.
