A recent report by the CSIRO has found that the ‘fly’ episode of Breaking Bad is a waste of 45 minutes, and almost puts a dampener on the entire award-winning TV series.

Despite the fact that hipsters and screen buffs try and say episode 10 from the third season of Breaking Bad is actually quite arty and poignant, the CSIRO say they have collected undeniable evidence that says it is actually very, very shit and should be erased from human history.

“It sucks” says Professor Kerrod Tallis.

“It’s just so shit”

The episode, which details a neurotic cat and mouse type scenario involving Brian Cranston’s lead character and an insect inside his meth lab, has had fans of the iconic TV show divided for years.

Researchers from the Commonwealth Scientific and Industrial Research Organisation says that the whole episode was unnecessary and wasted on the entire format, which is just technically a bit of softcore crime porn with heaps of cool twists.

“No need for a whole episode like that. Imagine if you’d waited all week to watch it, before streaming. It’s not The Wire, it’s a show about a meth cook and his race against cancer, not some deep insight into paranoia and metaphors” said the researcher.

“Burn it. Chuck in another episode about killing junkies with an ATM”

“As scientists, we are disappointed in it. He’s the only real TV hero that scientists have”
