Wagga Wagga man, Dalton Halloran (62) says he doesn’t have much time for lefties but for fuck’s sake give it a rest would ya Macca.
This comes as a Wagga business faces extreme backlash from the Federal Opposition for putting up a humorous Hogan’s Heroes parody in their shopfront window.

The poster depicted Clive Palmer, Gina Rinehart, Peter Dutton and local MP Michael McCormack wearing outfits akin to that of the fictional German military leaders made famous by the iconic American sitcom.
Michael McCormack labelled was labelled the artwork “beyond disgraceful” and immediately referred in to the NSW police for depicting Nazi symbols.
This kind of carry-on was just about enough for proud National Party voter, Dalton.
“Oh fuck’s sake” he scowled, upon reading the news earlier today.
“The police. They called the FUCKING POLICE over this”
“I never even watched that damn TV show and I know that this wasn’t about them being Nazis. It’s supposed to about them being morons.”
“And the more they bung it on the the more I think it might actually be pretty damn accurate”
Also sharing the image on social media, Deputy Liberal leader Sussan Ley called the display “abhorrent” in a separate Facebook post, as the Federal Opposition desperately try to write off this light-hearted criticism as some form of racism.
“[This poster] has no place in Wagga, no place in our Riverina region and no place in Australia,” she wrote, adding that social cohesion is “at breaking point” in the country when small-town graphic designers are openly talking shit about the Coalition in the main street of major agricultural hubs.
Dalton says he’s greatly disappointed in the party that he has voted for his entire life.
“They are carrying on like blue-haired lefties. What a bunch of soft cocks”
“They got offended and they called the cops. Over a light-hearted joke. Maybe they the anti-woke crusaders they say they are”
NSW Police have since ruled out any laws being broken, after commencing a pointless investigation into it on Tuesday morning.
In a terrific example of the Streisand Effect, this shopfront has since been decorated with yet another humorous sledge at the Coalition, with an unknown third-party from Wagga Wagga.
“Blessed Is The Cheesemakers” reads a banner now placed outside of the store’s window, in reference to a famous quote from the 1979 Monty Python film The Life of Brian.
The scene in the film from which the quote is derived is a parody of Jesus Christ’s Sermon on the Mount from the Bible.
When Jesus says, “Blessed are the peacemakers”, those furthest away from him in the crowd mishear it as “Blessed are the cheesemakers”.
Dalton says this kind of ribbing is going to keep happening if the conservatives want to spit the dummy every time someone has a dig at them.
“I’ll still vote for them. But Christ. I’m in half a mind to put up a poster of my own after this rubbish”
