The Duke and Duchess of Sussex, Prince Harry and his wife, Meghan have touched down in Dubbo for the second day of their first royal overseas tour.

It’s a joyous time for the regional epicentre of central-west New South Wales, however, the visible excitement has got a lot of people worried that the locals will go over the top and end up embarrassing us in front of the royal guests.

The pair landed in the regional NSW town at 10.30am, smiling and looking relaxed as they were greeted by rowdy local officials upon arrival.

However, Federal Government officials became increasingly nervous, after several Dubbo townies were putting on a ‘smoke show’ in the car park of the Dubbo City Regional Airport.

The Australian Governor General, Sir Peter Cosgrove, has since given stern words to the iconic bush city.

“Fucken behave yourselves” he told a crowd of yahooing Dubbonese.

“the royals don’t wanna see your fucken cars, or your kids haircuts!”

“Stop trying to give them cakes as well, the CWA has reserved all cake-giving rights.”

The Governor General was then told okayyyy, and just chill out.

Aside from the wildly successful 2018 Koori Knock Out, Dubbo residents say the highlight of the years will definitely be the fact Dubbo that they get to host the Duke and Duchess of Sussex for almost five hours today.
