A bloke that you knew from high school that is trying to get on TV has today hinted at just how serious he is taking his quest for fame.

Some say Lionel Gill (28) should have kept his job in media sales for Channel 7, and not put all of his eggs in one basket in his aggressive pursuit of C-list stardom.

However, he’s never been one to be told what to do. Something that has been very evident since his days clashing with the high school water polo coach.

Lionel is going to be relatively famous, and there’s no one that can tell him otherwise.

His new mission for vague famousness, possibly as a radio announcer or one of those shitty kids show hosts, is on display for all today – after he ‘accidentally’ uploaded his new press shots to his personal Facebook page.

The photos, which he’s commissioned himself to pair with his new demo reel, includes a couple of hair-scruffing shots.

In recent years, the scruffing-hair-while-looking-kind-of-confused has become somewhat of a telltale sign of pure ambition, and likeliness of being cast in one of those Friday arvo wrap-up live-crosses they do on the Project in each capital city.

Lionel has made it clear. He’s going to be hosting the wood chopping in the Ekka next year.
