Today’s ICAC inquiries have revealed that disgraced former Wagga MP Daryl Maguire is not gonna have too much luck on the NSW Riverina dating scene moving forward.

This comes after the public was treated to a fairly grim insight into how he treats the women he is allegedly ‘personally involved with’ – as investigators continue to unveil

The watchdog has found Former NSW Premier Gladys Berejiklian referred to her secret MP boyfriend Daryl Maguire as “family” in an intercepted text message, but under intense questioning at the NSW corruption watchdog insisted that she wasn’t sure if he was as committed to her as she was to him.

ICAC are attempting to investigated whether the former state Premier breached public trust or turned a blind eye to alleged corrupt conduct in connection to the grants, due to a conflict created by an undeclared relationship with Maguire, one that appears to have only benefitted him.

A series of intercepted April 2018 texts was shown, revealing Berejiklian had assured Maguire “you are my family” – in their conversations that weaved between clunky romance and alleged full blown political corruption.

The transcripts, which show Maguire behaving like a pig of a man, are as follows:

Daryl Maguire: do your job and lead the state

Gladys Berejiklian: I can’t with you

DM: I’m your biggest supporter, go back and do your job

GB: But you are my family

Counsel assisting the inquiry, Scott Robertson, then asked Berejiklian considered him family.

“In terms of my feelings, but definitely not in any legal sense, and definitely not in terms of anything I felt I needed to put on the public record,” Ms Berejiklian replied.

Ms Berejiklian said: “I had strong feelings for him, but I wasn’t assured of his commitment.”

The former Premier’s many supporters are today heartbroken to see a strong female Premier being lead astray by one of the most mediocre regional bureaucrats that God breathed air into.

These new revelations have found that Daryl Maguire is now far from the eligible bachelor he once was, with some experts saying he might have to move to Darwin and change his name if he ever wants to get back out there.
