After a relatively quiet few months, the Sydney Roosters are set to make a huge splash in the transfer market.

The powerhouse NRL club is reportedly set to unveil a huge signing in the form of the elite play maker that is God.

This news comes after video emerged of Scott Morrison revealing the gifted player won him the 2019.

It’s not known just how much the Tri-Colours will be signing God on, but the official figure being reported to the NRL is believed to be in the vicinity of $600,000 a season over four years.

“He actually was one of our juniours,” explained Brown Papa-Baggi, a Roosters talent scout.

“So it makes sense that we bring him back into the club and get him representing the community he grew up in.”

“At the moment we are looking at him as a Hooker to replace Jake Friend, but we are hoping that wherever we put him on the field he will have an instant impact like he did for the Scott Morrison Marketing team.”

“We are looking forward to unveiling the signing this afternoon and listening to all the bitter footy fans whinging about how we can’t afford God.”

Prime Minister and Captain of the Government Scott Morrison said he hasn’t officially seen anything from God yet, and believes the big fella will be at his club for the rest of his contract.

“I haven’t spotted a single soaring eagle or anything, so as far as I am concerned, God will be with us for the next couple of years at least,” said Morrison today.

More to come.
