The Productivity Commissioner has been put on high alert today as a major incident takes place across the country.
The Commission said they’ve seen a serious drop in productivity, as workplaces and home offices are beset by a huge outage.
The outage is courtesy of the Afterpay Day sales mania, that has seen people around the country flick their status to meeting mode and lock in.
One such individual caught up in the national productivity slump is Elise Wells from Betoota Heights.
“Well I’ve actually been incredibly productive,” laughed Elise, who just pushed a call back to tomorrow.”
“But not for the large company that I work for, but for ME!”
“And that is completely fair in this day and age IMHO.”
“One must look out for one’s self.”
With our reporter nodding along, Elise then explained that with up to 40% off a range of stores and brands, you just can’t let opportunities like this pass you by.
“The spreadsheet’s choc a block full of the things I’ve been holding off buying, and the veritable smorgasbord of deals.”
“This is my State of Origin and Grand final rolled into one,” she laughed.
“Now, if you don’t mind.”
