A local Irishman currently residing in County Coogee is gearing up for a huge Paddy’s Day, it can be confirmed.

Connor O’Shea from Australia’s greenest enclave explained to The Advocate that he’s ready to give it a ‘proper crack tonight like.’

“No like (sic), Paddy’s Day in Aus should be grand like,” said O’shea, currently working on the roads in Australia’s biggest city.

“Proper craic,” continued the lively young man who plans to spend the day with half of his small Irish home town from County Cavan.

With a huge day of cider consumption coming up for the bloke who got burnt to a crisp at the Misneach event in the domain yesterday, Connor says it’s only the best training top for today.

“Ttoday’s the day for the County Cavan GAA top,” said Connor, pointing to his Gaelic Football warm up jersey.

Usually one to wear an UnderArmour gym shirt for a night out, Connor says it’s worth making a bit of extra effort for the big day.

“Yeah, only comes round once a year does Paddys, so got to make the most of it like.”

“I’ll be going the full bells and whistles at Paddy Chans tonight.”

“Anyhow, green be the grass, time to get down to business,” he said, finishing the conversation and heading off to the bar.
