Health Minister Greg Hunt has today announced that 142,000 doses of the Pfizer/BioNTech vaccine are nearly ready to go!!!

After months of saying that we will be vaccinating against this virus any minute now, the Government has today reaffirmed that we will be vaccinating any minute now!!!

Hunt says this new batch of vaccines, which is so small that it wouldn’t even be able to cover the entire town of Toowoomba, still need to go through security and quality-assurance processes, including batch testing, before the rollout begins on February 22.

This exciting news has all but overshadowed the three or four news articles that were published this morning about an alleged rape taking place inside a Liberal Cabinet Minister’s Parliament House office a couple months before the 2019. Federal Election.

News.com.au reported this morning that a man working for then-defence industry minister Linda Reynolds took a 24-year-old female media staffer into Parliament House after a Friday night drinking session in March 2019 and allegedly raped her inside the Senator’s office.

The victim, a junior staffer, was just four weeks into her role at the time.

Days after the alleged incident, a crisis meeting was held between Senator Reynolds, the victim and a senior staffer inside the minister’s office — in exact same room the alleged crime had taken place.

The staffer says she felt like she was asked to choose between making a formal complaint and keeping her job – and has now resigned from working for the Government. She has since clarified to other networks that the information contained in the news.com.au report was accurate.

The fact that the incident is alleged to have taken place in the middle of Liberal Party’s damage control, months out from Morrison’s 2019 Federal Election win – raises questions over whether this incident was dealt with properly.

The victim says she finally decided to come forward after seeing a photo of the grinning Prime Minister Morrison posing next to the 2021 Australian Of The Year, sexual assault survivor and advocate Grace Tame.

A statement from the Morrison Government said the reports were “deeply distressing”… Buuuuutttttt the VACCINE IS NEARLY HERE!!! HOW GOOD IS THAT!!! We’ll be back on flights to Bali and packing out footy stadiums in no time!!!

With still not one Australian yet to actually receive that jab, this most recent ‘nearly here’ announcement is being viewed as one of Scotty From Marketing’s more impressive media distraction tactics.

MORE TO COME, possibly on Four Corners, tonight.
