Kyle Sandilands, the controversial host of the Kyle and Jackie O Show, shocked listeners on air with his latest stunt in a bid to win back the #1 spot in Australia’s breakfast radio ratings from rival host Ben Fordham of 2GB.

During a live broadcast, Sandilands attempted a handstand against the wall in the KIIS FM carpark while simultaneously defecating on his own face, in full view of his co-host and guests. The stunt was met with disgust and outrage from listeners and industry insiders alike, with many calling for Sandilands to be taken off the air.

Despite the backlash, Sandilands remained unrepentant, insisting that he was simply doing whatever it takes to entertain his audience and win their loyalty.

“I’m just trying to keep things interesting,” Sandilands said in a statement. “If people want to tune in to see what crazy stuff I’m going to do next, then that’s their choice. Look at me, I’m covered in the breakfast burrito I had this morning. Disgusting!”

Critics, however, argue that Sandilands’ stunts are not only distasteful but also disrespectful to his audience, who expect a certain level of professionalism and respect from their radio hosts.

“The fact that he would do something like this on air is simply unacceptable,” said one listener. “I used to listen to his show, but I won’t be tuning in again.”

According to sources close to Sandilands, this isn’t the first time he’s resorted to outrageous stunts in an effort to reclaim the #1 spot in the breakfast radio ratings. In the past, Sandilands has been known to engage in risky behaviour on air, including a now-infamous incident in which he reportedly soiled himself during a live broadcast.

Some speculate that Sandilands’ latest stunt is a desperate attempt to regain his former glory and outdo his arch-nemesis Ben Fordham of 2GB, who has held the top spot in the ratings for several months running.

As of press time, it remains to be seen whether Sandilands’ latest stunt will have any effect on his show’s ratings or whether it will prove to be the final straw for his listeners. One thing is for sure, though – Sandilands’ outrageous antics are unlikely to be forgotten anytime soon, and the battle for the top spot in breakfast radio continues to heat up.

More to come.
