Labor’s pick for one of the most multicultural electorates in Australia has been spotted driving her new 1995 Toyota Supra around Cabramatta over the weekend.

Kristina Keneally allegedly stalled a number of times and was seen to be granny shifting through the gears, which has sent Labor into damage control this morning.

Leader of the Opposition Anthony Albanese told reporters this morning in Sydney’s Inner West that it was an oversight by the party and will make every effort to make sure it doesn’t happen again.

“We’re going to be replacing the 1995 model with a 2020 model, which only comes in automatic,” said Albo.

“Which we hope will prevent this from happening again in the future. But look, as for the issue of backing Kristina in Fowler, it’s simply factional. I’m the good Labor, which is Labor left. Then there’s the Labor right, which is pretty much the law school kids. Private school kids. You know the type. Fucken lawyers. People who wear gloves in the garden,”

“Think of me as Eminem and them as Tha Free World. Anyway, we are going to fix Kristina’s car and make sure she has a minder with her while she’s in Cabramatta. We don’t want her getting lost or getting a shock when she sees all the sick pigeons hiding in the awnings when it rains.”

More to come.
