SHANE WARNE HAS stunned the crowds at a UK charity cricket match by debuting his new look, as well as bowling out the entire opposing team around their legs with classic legbreaks.

The controversial 45-year-old has also lashed out at the tabloids for continuing to spread rumours of him having plastic surgery, something that he vehemently denies.

In the match, Warne finished with figures of 10/23 off 5 overs to lead the St. George Foundation to a 411-run victory.

However, the result of the game and the Victorian’s dedication to children’s charities and other works have been overshadowed by the cosmetic surgery claims.

“Honestly, sometimes I feel like Michael Jackson,” said Warne.

“It’s tall poppy syndrome – I mean, I’m playing the best cricket of my career and all people want to write about me is these plastic surgery rumours,”

“Just like when MJ released Bad. It was his best album in my opinion and all the press said about him was how much of a freak show he was turning in to.”

Since starting the Shane Warne Foundation in 2004, the former cricketing great has raised over $7 million for children’s charities and individual families in need.  The philanthropic services range from horse riding lessons for the disabled to respite care for terminally ill children and much needed medical equipment.

While the leg spinner may deny that he’s had any work done to his face, some medical professionals disagree.

Dr Stuart Denuto, a Caboolture plastic surgeon, says that Warne “isn’t fooling anybody” with his shocking new look.

“You don’t have to be a doctor to know that Warnie has had a nip-tuck or two,” he said.

“But this is more than just a few Botox injections – he’s had extensive work done,”

“Like Michael Jackson, he can deny it all he wants but the proof is in the pudding.”
