The remaining viewers of free-to-air Australian television have made it clear to Channel 7 that they are not interested in downloading their ad-riddled Winter Olympics app, in a statement delivered across the nation’s households over the weekend.

The app, which is being promoted in non-stop advertisements on the television broadcast of the 2018 PyeongChang Olympics, is probably very shit, and not worthy of the data it would require to hand over your personal details to a major media corporation.

The few Australians who have been convinced into downloading the app have complained the app doesn’t boast Chromecast support – meaning that even if you do want to watch live Winter Olympics coverage, you can only doing it on your smartphone

The app has a 2.2 rating (out of five) on the app store, with 728 one-star ratings out of 1328 reviews at the time of writing.

It has also been reported that viewers are forced to watch at least several pre-roll advertisements before seeing anything vaguely Olympics related.

Viewers have demanded that Channel seven just fuck off with these non-stop meta-self-promotion.

“Get over it” said one Winter Olympics viewer.

“No, I’m not fucking interested in downloading your app, or watching My Kitchen Rules. Stop fucking asking me to do it”
