Today, after a series of unpublicised negotiations, News Corp Australia and Betoota News Pty Ltd  are happy to announce a history-making partnership that will benefit both companies and both communities, but more importantly Рall consumers of news.

After several months of bickering and a longstanding but healthy rivalry, The Betoota Advocate is very happy to join the likes of the Daily Telegraph, Australian, NT News, Courier Mail and the Herald Sun – in the highly-esteemed News Corp stable.

While this announcement is surprising for many, it will not change the format of The Betoota Advocate, the $1.2 Million dollars put forward by Rupert Murdoch does not mean our new siblings are going to be immune from the critical and cynical Betoota pen.
